The Opposition wants an update on public input submitted through EngageNL on the new Churchill Falls agreement.
Debate on the new deal begins in the House of Assembly on Monday.
The provincial government opened a portal on EngageNL last Friday and closed it a few days later.
Opposition House Leader Lisa Dempster says generally, uptake in the online portal is “very, very low” and she wants an update on the level of public input received.
“Coming out with that, on Friday evening of a long weekend, the minister said he’s got some good uptake. Are they going to share the questions? Are they going to be transparent there? Because they haven’t been very transparent along the way.”
