Work continues on the removal of the grounded bulk carrier Baltic III, with its dismantling progressing to the degree that the ship is barely recognizable.
The total amount of metal removed from the vessel to date is 4,200 tonnes – or 40 per cent of its total tonnage.

The Canadian Coast Guard says Resolve Marine has pulled the vessel 53 metres toward the shore, taking advantage of high tides to make the work easier.
Shoreline monitoring continues according to the Canadian Coast Guard, with a slight sheen recently noticed outside the wreck – something the Coast Guard says is to be expected during the removal process.

Some residual fuel remains inside the holds and an absorbent boom has been placed inside to prevent the release of pollution.
