A 43-year-old man from Nova Scotia is dead and a child is in hospital with serious injuries following a collision on the Trans Canada on Friday.
The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene while his young passenger suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Corner Brook for treatment.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
