Bay Roberts RCMP have identified a child shown in a recent video circulating on social media who was assaulted by other students.
Police say the victim is being supported by them and the school community, and an investigation into the matter continues.
Updates on the status of the investigation will be provided “when appropriate.”
RCMP urge anyone who witnessed the incident, including those who filmed the altercation, to contact the Bay Roberts detachment at 709-786-2118.
