Could it be a sign of the times?
RCMP on the Burin Peninsula are hoping the public can help in identifying the person or persons responsible in a number of incidents of gas stolen from vehicles parked at a local school.
Two reports were received about gas stolen from vehicles at Donald C. Jamieson Academy in Burin sometime in the overnight hours of Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
As part of their investigation, officers learned that another unreported theft happened in the same lot approximately two weeks ago.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Burin Peninsula RCMP at 709-279-3001.
