The Deputy Premier is reiterating that a required letter will be drafted and sent to the Chief Justice to get the Electoral Boundaries Commission process underway.

Electoral boundaries must be reviewed once every ten years and the deadline to get it done is fast approaching.

Barry Petten says an announcement on the process, which, under current legislation must be completed by the end of the year, is coming.

“Just stay tuned, it’ll get there,” says Petten, “but I can tell you right now, the people in CBS and the rest of the province, the last thing on their minds is a boundaries commission, but we’ll get there. I promise, we’ll get there.”
