A man whose wanted poster drew a lot of attention is now in custody.

28-year-old Gregory Pike of Harbour Grace was wanted on a number of outstanding warrants for break, enter and theft. He has a noticeable loss of pigment in his right eye and sports facial tattoos.

RCMP had to issue a reminder this morning following a social media post of Pike.

It resulted in unwelcome comments to the RCMP’s social media feed, prompting police to issue a reminder to its followers to abide by their guidelines on comments that are disrespectful or designed to shame a person.
