The opening of Bishop Feild has been delayed by another 3 months.
Parents are being told the delay is due to water leaking into the gym which the source has yet to be found.
Parents and students have been patiently waiting to return to school after part of the roof collapsed in the gymnasium in October 2017.
Last month the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District gave parents an update that work was on track for January, but that is no longer the case as they are being told tentatively April.
Rhona Buchan is a parent at Bishop Feild and says parents are frustrated and feel that proper communication has been lacking.
She says some parents are very mad and frustrated that they have not been getting this information. Buchan says the communication from the district has been so limited. They are asking for respect and meaningful communication about the issues.
Concerns are being raised over more tax payers dollars being spent due to all the delays and the disappointment for the kids who have wanted to return to their school for over 2 years.
The Bishop Feild school council has forwarded a request to the school board for a meeting to obtain more information.
