The provincial government’s decision to increase the commission for tier one cannabis retailers means one local shop’s doors can remain open.

Cannabis retailer and advocate Thomas Clarke says he is happy with the decision.

Clarke says he can take a deep breath now knowing that he will be able to pay his HST and payroll tax. He says the ability to sell his products to all online is also a huge step in the right direction.

He says he can finally supply weed through his website to everyone across the province.

Clarke says he is prepared to sell cannabis edibles and will receive his shipments by mid December.
