The 64th annual Mount Pearl Lions Club Santa Claus Parade is a go for today.
The parade begins in the parking lot of Mount Pearl Intermediate and will travel east along Ruth Avenue and Park Avenue before turning onto Smallwood Drive to head towards the Team Gushue Sports Complex.
Those heading out to take in the procession are encouraged to bring along donations for local food banks to be collected along the parade route.
The event gets under way at 10 a.m.
