A flu shot clinic scheduled to take place on Bell Island today has been rescheduled due to forecasted high winds and rain that are set to hit the island.
The clinic has been rescheduled for Thursday at the Sr. Walter Templeman Health Care Centre from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to Environment Canada, winds are expected to be strong today, with gusts of up to 100 km/h expected in the metro region ramping up this morning and hitting peak gusts this afternoon.
The winds are not expected to die down until later tonight.
