One of the passengers on board the PAL Airlines Flight where two men were banned from flying with the company for making racist and derogatory comments, does not accept their apology.
Miriam Lidd of Nain says she believes she sat in the seat on that flight for a reason and that she is glad she spoke up for everyone, not just herself.
Lidd says if the men could say “harsh and ignorant” words in person, they should apologize in person. She says the situation is why racism keeps happening because everyone is too easy on people. She believes that if the men believe that the apology is accepted, it is not.
Lidd states that what they did was a big deal and it cannot just be let go.
