The message is out there loud and clear but some people are choosing to drink and drive anyhow including one person who was on the road the same time that kids were going to school.
RCMP in Stephenville, Grand Falls-Windsor, Clarenville and Ferryland removed four drivers from the roads for impaired driving in the past four days.
A 72-year-old man was stopped between Fox Island River and Point au Mal Friday night. The Fox Island River resident blew above the legal limit.
Late Saturday night, police in central picked up a 46-year-old man from Fort MacMurray who was driving while impaired.
A 26-year-old man from Clarenville was more than twice the legal limit when he was picked up Sunday night.
And, perhaps the most mind-boggling, was that police stopped a driver in Bay Bulls just after 8:30 this morning. The man, who is from Bay Bulls, blew twice the legal limit and was driving while prohibited.
All were released to appear in court in the new year.
