A man from with ties to this province has been charged with making child pornography in New Brunswick.
27-year-old Barry Austin Morningstar was formally charged last week as the result of an investigation that began in August. At the time, Morningstar was on a statutory release from prison and was serving time at a halfway house in Saint John.
Police seized an electronic device from the man and his release was revoked.
Last week, police formally charged Morningstar with possessing and making child pornography.
He remains in custody and will appear in Saint John Provincial Court on January 15th.
