A man from Newfoundland has been charged for having child pornography.
The RNC/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation Team arrested a man from Bay D’Espoir for online child exploitation.
The investigation, which began almost a year ago, led to the search of a residence in Bay D’Espoir last July.
After analyzing the items seized, police charged 43-year-old George Willmott. He has appeared in court in Grand Falls-Windsor and was released on an undertaking with conditions designed to prevent access to youth.
Police encourage parents to monitor online activities of children.
