Icemaking has begun at The Loop in Bannerman Park.
City officials do not know when it will be ready to host activity as the ice is built in layers 1/16 of an inch thickness to a final depth of one inch. Progress is dependent on weather conditions.
The city urges everyone to stay off The Loop until it is ready for skating.
Once the final layer of ice making is complete, the city will update the public. For more information contact the city at 733-LOOP (5667).
