The NDP MP for St. John’s East-Quidi Vidi believes he knows why federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau failed to introduce a promised Middle Class Tax Cut though a Ways and Means Bill by the end of this week.
Jack Harris says that was aborted because of an NDP news conference this week.
Harris says the tax cut wasn’t going to the right people.
He said it suggested that the $6 billion dollar tax cut will in fact benefit wealthier Canadians rather than those who need it the most.
