Newfoundlander Dawson Mercer makes Team Canada’s World Junior Roster

A Bay Roberts man will be representing Newfoundland and Labrador at the World Junior Hockey Championships this year.

18-year-old, Dawson Mercer is one of 13 forwards on the team. Mercer will be sporting jersey number 20.

Mercer will make his debut on Boxing Day in the Czech Republic when Team Canada plays the United States at 2:30 p.m. Newfoundland time.
