The NLTA is urging the provincial government to do a complete review of the Teacher Allocation Model.
President Dean Ingram says it’s something the union has been expecting for some time.
He believes it’s “long overdue” and was something that was supposed to have been done back in 2011.
While the Education Action Plan was a move in the right direction, an independent assessment of the Teacher Allocation model is still needed – including administration, school counsellors and IRT personnel.
