Two people were arrested and charged following an altercation in Bristol’s Hope on the weekend that sent four people to hospital.
RCMP say a 38-year-old man was assaulted and stabbed and a 24-year-old woman suffered a slash wound as a result.
All four involved were taken to hospital for treatment and released.
A 33-year-old Bristol’s Hope man and a 30-year-old woman from Nova Scotia were arrested. The woman is facing charges of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. She was released from custody to appear in court in February.
The man remains in custody, facing charges of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
