A property on Adams Avenue in the capital city that was the centre of some controversy last year is being developed into office space.
Last year, a proposal was put forward to turn the old Salvation Army building into a for-profit transition house.
There was considerable push back to the application from residents, with many people posting signs on their properties voicing their disapproval.

In the end council did not move forward with that proposal.
Last night, city council voted to approve an application for use of the site as office space.
There were no submissions received by the city from residents raising concerns about the application.
The building will be occupied by Key Assets.
