A 31-year-old man from Lark Harbour has been charged for driving at over three times the legal limit.
Just before midnight on Tuesday police were called to reports of a disturbance at a bar in the community.
The suspect left the scene in a vehicle but was found a short time later.
The man has been charged with impaired, and for driving without a valid license or registration. The vehicle was impounded.
The man has been released from custody and will be back in court in March.
