In both cases moose were killed along the Trans Canada Highway.
One incident occurred near Aspen Brook about 9 km east of Badger, while the other took place near Square Pond Provincial Park just west of Gambo.
Wildlife Enforcement Officers believe both animals were shot and killed either late Sunday night or early Monday morning.
The hunting season is currently closed.
Anyone with information, or who witnessed suspicious activity in those areas is asked to contact Fish and Wildlife Enforcement at 709-637-2971, or anonymously through the Report a Poacher line at 1-877-820-0999. As well, those with information can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
