There will be a special kind of “noisy” tribute to John Crosbie just a few minutes before his funeral this afternoon.
PAL Aerospace will conduct a flypast and “tip of the wing” at the Anglican Cathedral at about 1:55.
The special flight will be operated by one of PAL’s Airborne Maritime Surveillance Division King Air aircraft, which the company says recognizes Crosbie’s lasting impact on their operation. PAL says Crosbie played a pivotal role in them securing their first federal government offshore surveillance contract in 1990. PAL gained expertise from that experience which has been fundamental to its success.
Jake Trainor, the CEO of PAL Aerospace, says they owe a significant debt of gratitude to Crosbie.
