Three people are dead following a house fire in CBS last night.
The RNC says firefighters received the call shortly after 5:30 yesterday afternoon in the area of Emerald Creek Drive in Conception Bay South.
The home was engulfed in flame when emergency responders arrived and officials were told there were people inside.
The remains of three people were found inside what was left of the house.
The Chief Medical Examiner is working to determine the cause of death, and an investigation is being conducted by RNC with the help of the Fire Commissioner’s Office.
The RNC is sending its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and are offering their thanks to the Salvation Army and the first responders who came together to provide assistance.
