St. John’s Regional fought their way to two businesses in the capital city after damage was sustained during last night’s record-breaking storm.
Boston Pizza on Kelsey Drive sustained some damage following a minor fire in the early hours this morning.
According to Platoon Chief Dean Foley, an issue with a propane line in their central heating unit caused some minor damage.
Flames could be seen in the air above the restaurant’s roof before sunrise, as crews cut their way to the scene through heavy snow.
As well, the roof of Big Eric’s on Blackmarsh Road was damaged during the storm.
