Mayor Danny Breen says the military’s number one focus today is digging out seniors and those who need assistance in getting access to their homes.
In order for the military to show up at your door and shovel you out, Mayor Breen says there are criteria.
He says the support is limited to vulnerable populations who require physical assistance with snow shoveling for home access only.

Breen says there are issues to go over today like the snowfall last night, and after four days, food.
The Mayor says he’s never seen anything quite like what the City is dealing with.
Breen says he has never seen so much snow, and such a “mammoth” task ahead of the City. He says it’s an incredible job that staff have ahead.

He reiterates the importance of people to stay off the roads as the State of Emergency is still in effect.
Breen says their equipment need free access to the roads.
On most of the main roads there are two lanes established. But, off the main drags roads are down to one lane.
