A number of pharmacies are opening in St. John’s this afternoon.
The city has authorized a total of 11 pharmacies to open their doors between 1:00 this afternoon and 7:00 tonight.
Unless you are picking up medication or essential baby supplies the city is asking residents to stay home as the state of emergency has yet to be lifted.
The pharmacies opening their doors are:

- Kenmount Pharmasave, 300 Kenmount Road, Suite 107

- The Medicine Shoppe, 470 Topsail Road, Unit 215
- NuCare Pharmacy Home Services, 320 Torbay Road, Suite 202
- Shea Heights Pharmacy, 55B Linegar Avenue
- Shoppers Drug Mart, 204 Freshwater Road
