Day Six into the capital city’s State of Emergency and the cracks are beginning to show.
Small business owners are questioning the snow clearing efforts, with many parts of the city still with no more than a single cut, while many business parking lots are clear.
Todd Perrin says things haven’t been as bad for him as some others, as he operates a grocery business in addition to his restaurants.
He agrees that traffic can’t resume until the streets are widened further and applauds the city for keeping vehicles off the roads until things improve.
While Perrin understands that the city is doing what it can, when all is said and done, some serious questions have to be asked.
He says six days in, and you’d expect to see snow clearing equipment everywhere. Perrin doesn’t expect things to return to normal until at least Monday.
