Over the lunch hour yesterday, the RNC responded to a report of an assault at the Blackmarsh Road roundabout in west-end St John’s.
The incident happened around 12:45. A witness reported seeing a man, a driver of one vehicle, assault another motorist during a traffic incident.
The 46-year-old man was finally located in the area of Kenmount Road, where he was stopped, arrested and charged with common assault.
He was released to appear in court at a later date.
