All businesses and other community organizations in St. John’s will be allowed to access their premises as of 6:00 this morning.

The city hopes to be in a position to lift the state of emergency on Saturday morning, but a final decision will not come until today.

So as of 6:00 this morning, all businesses and community organizations will be able to call in staff, have suppliers make deliveries and procure any and all technical or supportive services required to reopen.

They are not permitted to open to clients or customers until the state of emergency is lifted.

Under the current State of Emergency food stores are permitted to open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
