An announcement is being made today about the re-opening of schools in metro.

The English School District was cautiously optimistic on Friday that schools will be able to reopen.

District CEO Tony Stack says it cannot account for every conceivable, personal circumstance and that families are in the best position to judge whether a student can travel safely to and from school and bus stops.

There is a possibility that some bus routes will be temporarily adjusted because of narrow streets. If changes are made, they will be posted online on sometime today on a special student transportation web page, accessible through the English School District website.
