A 29-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving after causing a collision in Gander.
RCMP responded to a two-vehicle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near the Comfort Inn. It was discovered that one of the drivers was impaired.
The man’s licence was suspended and his vehicle was seized and impounded. He was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 22-year-old woman from Gander, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and later released.
