The School Lunch Association will be resuming full operations as of tomorrow.
In the wake of the record breaking winter storm that hit the island a week and a half ago, the association asked parents to prepare lunches for their children for the first few days of school until they could fully assess their inventory.
In a post to their Facebook page, the association says there will be changes to this week’s menu due to supply restraints.
The meals served this week will be following last week’s schedule. For example, the meal served tomorrow will be what was supposed to be served last Tuesday.
All meals supposed to be served this week have been canceled.
As well, the association is asking parents to assess their situation for March and modify or credit their payment as needed.
