Man Arrested Following Parking Lot Assault in Metro

A 32-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a woman in a parking lot in Centre City St. John’s.

RNC were called to the area on Topsail Road just after 12:30 yesterday afternoon. When police arrived, they found a man and woman. There were no serious injuries.

The man was arrested and charged with uttering threats and assault.

He was held to appear in court today.
