The person who government had a significant hand in hiring for a $132,000 job at The Rooms has now been appointed to an executive position in the civil service.
Minister Christopher Mitchelmore had to apologize to the House of Assembly, and received a short suspension, a couple of months ago for his role in having Foote hired at The Rooms.

Premier Dwight Ball has now appointed her to the role of Assistant Deputy Minister of the Public Engagement and Planning Division.
Her role as ADM begins on February 20, bringing her salary to $123,065—down from the $132,000 she received at The Rooms.
VOCM News has reached out to Carla Foote for comment.
