Metro police were in the right place at the right time early this morning when they arrested a suspect in connection to a stolen vehicle.
The RNC were on patrol on Ropewalk Lane in St. John’s when they noticed someone fleeing from a vehicle.
When they ran the license plate they found out the vehicle had been stolen several days earlier.
After a brief foot chase the 27-year-old man was arrested
The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant and now faces the additional charge of being on possession of a stolen vehicle.
He was held for court.
