Nalcor CEO Stan Marshall says he saw nothing suggesting criminal activity on the part of Nalcor officials during the course of the Muskrat Falls Inquiry.
Justice Richard LeBlanc’s report concludes that former Nalcor CEO Ed Martin and Vice President Gilbert Bennett concealed information that would have undermined the business case for Muskrat.
The provincial government is now passing the report on to police and the Department of Justice to see if there was any criminality involved.
CEO Stan Marshall doesn’t expect to see any charges laid.
Marshall defended VP Gilbert Bennett , who along with former CEO Ed Martin “frequently took unprincipled steps” to get the project sanctioned according to LeBlanc’s report.
Marshall has worked with Gilbert Bennett for four years and says he trusts him fully and has complete confidence in him.
