The English School District has suspended all extra-curricular activities involving interaction between different school populations until further notice.
This includes regional and provincial sports tournaments, heritage fairs, science fairs, drama festivals or any activity that involves multiple school populations gathered in one place.
The district says it is an unfortunate measure but a prudent step in keeping students safe.
