Three more people have died in British Columbia from the new coronavirus. All stem from that outbreak in the care centre where the elderly person died a couple of weeks ago.
As of this morning there were at least 356 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Canada, and 17 probable cases.
The Public Health Agency of Canada is reporting that 13 per cent of those cases required hospitalization.
Ontario is reporting 32 new cases today, bringing the province’s total to 177.
Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam says if people don’t stay home now the virus will spread so quickly that too many people will need urgent medical care at once. (9)
