There will be no final exams taking place on campus at MUN in April.
The University says on campus exams and online invigilated exams have been canceled.
Instructors have been presented with numerous alternatives, which include looking at other methods of conducting the exam or simply postponing on campus exams to a later date.
No matter what instructors choose, students will be given the option of of accepting a PAS/FAL grade for the course, or a numerical grade. The university notes a PAS or FAL grade has no impact on a student’s academic average.
As well, this update does not impact undergrad exams in the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Centre for Nursing Studies, the Western Regional School of Nursing, or certificate, diploma , undergraduate or graduate students at the Fisheries and Marine Institute. In those cases, students will be updated directly by their faculty.
Students are advised that there will be no final exams taking place on campus in April. This includes both on campus and online invigilated exams. For more, see https://t.co/36nIfTfGpx
