Municipalities NL is doing what it can to support towns and cities in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

President Sheilagh Fitzgerald says they’ve developed a website that contains all the information municipalities need to deal with the new reality.

It includes the latest, most accurate information available to hep ensure staff and workers are kept safe.

The guidance document includes protocols surrounding closing public counters and buildings and moving services online or over the phone.

Most municipalities have followed those protocols and have closed recreational, community, and town or city offices to the public.
