Starting tomorrow, all non-essential travel between the United States and Canada will be restricted for a period of 30 days.
To limit the spread of COVID-19, both countries reached an agreement to halt unnecessary travel.
The Prime Minister’s Office describes the measure as “collaborative” and “reciprocal.”
Today we announced that any individual returning from out-of-province will now be absolutely required to quarantine for 14-days. This includes international travelers and those arriving from another province. 1/4 pic.twitter.com/pkm4n9jyhH

Supply chains between the US and Canada will be maintained. As well, necessary travel across the border will remain unaffected by the new restriction.
The measure is currently planned to last for a 30-day period, before it is reviewed again by officials from both countries.
