There has been a fire at the corrections centre in Stephenville.
Fire Chief Wayne Reilley of the Stephenville fire department says the blaze occurred last night in one cell and spread to the cell beside it, but went no further than that.
No injuries were reported.
RCMP are conducting an investigation into the incident.
