The numbers (of confirmed COVID-19 cases) are growing, and Canadian Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Theresa Tam says the time to act is now.
Dr. Tam reiterated the Prime Minister’s message today to ensure that Canadians are following self-isolation and social distancing measures to control the spread of COVID-19.
There are now 1474 cases in Canada and 20 deaths in the country to-date. 102,000 Canadians have been tested for the illness.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was clear in his message to Canadians today.
He referenced people not abiding by efforts to control the spread of the illness and says “enough is enough.” If you think you are invincible, says Trudeau, you are not.
Enough is enough.
