The mail on Kenmount Road is back up and running but there’s a heavy backlog after a one-week closure and a smaller staff to clear that backlog away.
Canada Post says while mail and parcel delivery will resume, delays are expected to ensure the safety of their employees.

Craig Dyer, shop steward with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, says they have about 30-40 per cent of employees still in isolation.
He says they will be prioritizing the cheques and then, on a day-by-day basis, start clearing the backlog. He calls it “Snowmageddon II.
