In his latest address to the nation, Prime Minister Trudeau again urges people to stay home as much as possible.

If a business’s revenues have decreased by as much as 30 per cent, it will qualify for the Canadian Emergency Business Subsidy. It will not be based on number of employees.

Every business of every size is eligible if they meet loss of revenue criteria.

Trudeau says they are trusting businesses to do the right thing, and that there will be serious consequences for any business which tries to take advantage of the program.

He says every dollar of the subsidy should go to the workers.

The federal government has received no requests for the Army, but they are ready to respond if needed.

They will be talking about emergency planning with the provinces at their next virtual meeting.
