Premier Dwight Ball says he’s been getting hundreds of emails from those who are vulnerable to infection and scared.

He outlined one email he received yesterday from the grandfather of Jacob Anstey, who is celebrating his seventh birthday tomorrow.

Ball says Jacob has beaten insurmountable odds. He was born with congenital heart disease and endured his first surgery in his first five days of life. He has since had three different pacemaker implantations.

Ball says people like Jacob and many more besides, are at high risk to the impact of COVID-19. The Premier says actions the province is taking now is to protect people like Jacob.
