Work was temporarily halted and an investigation is underway after a worker died at Suncor’s Fort Hills oil sands site yesterday.
The man was working for Ledcor when the incident occurred. Few details are known at this time.
The man’s identity has not yet been released.
Sunday was the National Day of Mourning for those injured or killed on the job.
