Newfoundland and Labrador has four new confirmed cases of COVID-19. Two cases are in Eastern Health and two in Central Health.
Contact tracing is underway and everyone considered a close contact will be advised to quarantine.
We now have 232 cases: 219 in Eastern, six in Central, six in Labrador-Grenfell and one in Western.
Fifty-three per cent of cases are female and 47 per cent are male.
Six people are in hospital due to the virus and of those, two are in intensive care. Two people have died.
Government says 74 people have now recovered from the virus.
To date, 4,149 people have been tested.
The Department of Health released the numbers this afternoon in lieu of a live update.
However, this evening at 6 p.m., officials will present projected numbers of how the COVID-19 surge may impact the province.
